We want you to succeed as a foster family so that you will BE FOSTER PROUD!
We provide a number of benefits and services to our Foster Parents to help them care for the children in their homes.
- Multi-disciplinary foster care team with 200+ years combined experience
- Efficient licensing process expedites foster care certification
- Comprehensive TBRI® training provides Foster
- Parents with specific strategies for parenting children who have experienced trauma
- Simple and practical techniques help you have more fun and less stress while you care for your child
Foster and adoptive parents are reimbursed a daily amount, called a “per diem,” to help cover the cost of food, clothing, hygiene supplies, transportation, recreation, gifts and other basic needs of children in care. This rate is determined by each child’s “Level of Care.”
If you want to encourage other members of your church to become Mission 1:27 Foster Parents, our Mission 1:27 program can help. This faith-based awareness campaign will elevate the voices of local children needing families and build excitement for fostering within your church.

Respite/Overnight Care Benefit
In limited locations, we are able to provide our Foster Parents with the opportunity to take up to 2 nights of paid respite/overnight care per month, based on the availability of an alternate care provider. (The alternate care provider is also paid the daily rate of the child’s level of care.) Please note: we are not able to provide this service in Houston or Austin; and it is not extended to Fostering Connections/Kinship Care Parents or to Foster-to-Adopt Families.
Periodically, other seasonal, temporary, or one-time benefits become available to our foster/adoptive parents, such as Christmas gift donations, special events, projects, etc.
